Homemade Cinnamon Twists!

Indulge in a delightful treat with our latest recipe, homemade cinnamon twists! These delicious twists are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and are incredibly easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups large pasta shells

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar:

    • In a shallow bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon.

    • Set the bowl aside.

  2. Heat the Oil:

    • In a deep frying pan or pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). The oil should be deep enough to allow the pasta shells to float and expand.

  3. Fry the Pasta Shells:

    • Carefully drop a few pasta shells at a time into the hot oil. The shells will puff up quickly and turn golden brown in about 1-2 minutes.

    • Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried pasta shells from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  4. Coat with Cinnamon Sugar:

    • While the pasta shells are still warm, toss them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.

  5. Serve:

    • Serve the cinnamon twists warm and enjoy!
